CallMeChat Refund Policy

This Refund Policy ("Policy") forms an integral part of the CallMeChat Terms of Use ("Terms"). Capitalized terms have the same meaning as defined in the Terms.
By making a purchase on CallMeChat, you agree to be bound by this Policy.
1. Scope of This Policy
1.1. This Policy governs refunds for all one-time payments made on CallMeChat, including Coins and any other in-Application digital features ("Digital Items").
1.2. CallMeChat does not offer subscriptions, trials or recurring billing. All purchases are one-time payments.
1.3. Digital Items are consumed immediately upon purchase and delivered in real time within the Application. For this reason, all such items are generally non-refundable, except as explicitly stated in this Policy or required by applicable law.
1.4. Please read this Policy carefully. Failure to follow the procedure may result in loss of eligibility for a refund.
2. Nature of Digital Items (Non-Refundable by Default)
2.1. Coins, Presents, Minutes and other Digital Items are online digital content that is deemed fully consumed once delivered to your account.
2.2. Digital Items:
- have no monetary or cash value;
- cannot be exchanged for money, services, merchandise or anything of value;
- cannot be transferred or sold;
- remain our intellectual property.
2.3. Because Digital Items are consumed instantly and cannot be "returned," payments for them are non-refundable, unless a Legal Refund applies (see Section 3), or an Optional Refund is granted at our discretion (Section 4).
3. Legal Refunds
Certain jurisdictions grant mandatory consumer rights. Where applicable, these rights override parts of this Policy. CallMeChat complies with those obligations.
3.1. Users Residing in the European Union or EEA
3.1.1. Under EU/EEA consumer law, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services ("Cooling-off Period").
3.1.2. However, this right does not apply once digital content is delivered and performance begins with your explicit consent.
3.1.3. By registering an account, purchasing Digital Items, and accepting the Terms and this Policy, you:
- a) request immediate performance of the service; and
- b) acknowledge that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal once Digital Items are delivered to your account.
3.1.4. If you exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days and you have not used or consumed any Digital Items, CallMeChat will refund the monetary equivalent of the unused Digital Items only.
3.1.5. Once Coins are spent or consumed, the statutory withdrawal right no longer applies.
3.2. Users Residing in Certain U.S. States (Cooling-Off Rule)
3.2.1. In some U.S. states, users may have the right to cancel the transaction before midnight of the third business day following the purchase (excluding weekends and holidays).
3.2.2. To exercise this right, you must send a dated, signed cancellation notice to:

3.2.3. If the cancellation is valid, we will refund the unused portion of your purchase.
3.2.4. This right does not apply to Digital Items already consumed by the user.
4. Optional Refunds (Discretionary)
Optional Refunds are refunds that do not arise from mandatory consumer law. These refunds are entirely at our discretion.
We may refund the monetary value of unused Digital Items in the following situations:
4.1. Mistaken Purchase: You purchased Digital Items unintentionally and contacted us within 3 calendar days, and no Digital Items were used (refund issued as real currency).
4.2. Account Terminated by Us: Your account was blocked or terminated by CallMeChat for reasons not related to your breach, and your unused balance exceeds USD 10 (refund issued as real currency).
4.3. Failure to Provide Services: CallMeChat failed to deliver paid features as described in the Terms (refund may be monetary or in the form of Coins).
4.4. Improper Conduct or Misrepresentation by Another User: If another user engaged in misleading or prohibited behavior affecting your purchase, we may issue a goodwill refund (usually in Coins).
4.5. Other Cases at Our Sole Discretion: We may provide a partial or full refund if we consider it fair under the circumstances.
All requests for discretionary refunds must be submitted within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase. Requests submitted after this period may not be considered at the Company's sole discretion. The monetary value of the refund request must be at least USD 10. Requests below this threshold may not be considered.
4.6. Limitations
Refunds will NOT be granted if:
- a) Digital Items were already used/spent;
- b) the request is based on your own violation of the Terms;
- c) we have reasonable grounds to believe evidence is falsified.
5. Refund Requests for Spent Digital Items
Refunds for spent Coins are only considered when:
5.1. CallMeChat failed to provide the service, e.g., a technical issue prevented delivery.
5.2. Unauthorized transactions, meaning:
- a third party accessed your payment method without permission AND
- you provide credible evidence of loss of control.
5.3. Requests based on "another user refused to talk" or "unsatisfactory interaction" are not eligible, as CallMeChat cannot force any user to communicate or respond.
6. Refund Procedure & Evidence Requirements
6.1. All refund requests must be sent to [email protected].
6.2. You must include:
- description of the issue;
- transaction details;
- screenshots, logs, or other evidence (if relevant).
6.3. We may request additional details or evidence.
6.4. If you fail to provide requested evidence within 7 calendar days, the request may be rejected.
6.5. Decision Time (SLA)
- Standard cases: within 72 hours of receiving your request.
- Cases requiring additional documentation: within 72 hours from the moment you provide all required evidence.
7. Chargebacks
7.1. A refund is processed directly by CallMeChat.
7.2. A chargeback is processed by your bank or payment provider and may involve third-party review.
7.3. If you initiate a chargeback before completing our refund procedure, we may be unable to issue a refund until the chargeback process is completed.
7.4. We may also be required to share transaction-related evidence with your bank to resolve the chargeback.
8. Amendments
We may update this Policy at any time. Changes apply from the date they are published. If you do not agree to the updated Policy, you must stop using the Application and delete your account.
