CallMeChat Billing Policy
Effective date: July 31, 2020
This Policy is a legally binding contract and an integral part to the CallMeChat Terms of Use. All the definitions herein have the same meanings as they identified by the Terms. To find the Terms in full format, you need to follow this link https://callmechat.com/terms-of-use.
1. General
1.1. The Application provides access to certain paid features. Communication and other interactions with users may require the use of virtual in-app currency ("Coins").
1.2. Coins can be purchased by users as one-time payments.
2. Paid Services and Pricing
2.1. Paid services include the purchase of Coins, which can be used to access features such as messaging, video communication, sending virtual gifts, and other interactive functions available within the Application.
2.2. The price of Coins is displayed within the Application at the moment of purchase. Price points may vary depending on the user's region and local currency.
2.3. A full description of paid features is available directly in the Application and may be updated by the Company without prior notice.
3. Nature of Coins and Virtual Items
3.1. Coins and virtual gifts ("presents") are digital elements of the Application's user interface. They are displayed as images or icons for interaction purposes.
3.2. By purchasing and using Coins, you acknowledge and confirm that:
- Coins are not legal tender, have no monetary value, and cannot be exchanged for real currency or items of value.
- Coins and virtual gifts are not your property; they constitute part of the Application's user experience and remain the Company's intellectual property.
- Coins may only be used within the Application to access its available features.
- Coins may not be sold, transferred, traded, bartered, or exchanged with any third party, inside or outside the Application.
- Any attempt to sell, trade, donate, or otherwise transfer Coins or virtual gifts is strictly prohibited and considered null and void.
- Neither the Company nor any third party has any obligation to exchange Coins for money or anything of value.
3.3. You are strictly prohibited from:
- offering or requesting money, donations, goods, services, or any other item of value in exchange for Coins or virtual gifts;
- using Coins to solicit or provide any items or services (including commercial dating, favors, etc.) that may have any real-world value;
- promoting or engaging in any form of monetization of Coins or virtual gifts.
4. Use and Management of Coins
4.1. Coins purchased by you remain available in your account balance until spent on paid features.
4.2. Once Coins are consumed through the Application, they are not refundable and cannot be restored except as expressly provided by this Policy or required by applicable law.
4.3. The Company reserves the unrestricted right to issue, manage, modify, or remove Coins and virtual content, including but not limited to changing pricing, availability, or functionality.
4.4. Such changes may make certain items more or less common, desirable, or effective.
5. Technical Failures and Account Security
5.1. If your account is compromised or Coins are lost due to operational, technical, or other material issues caused by the Company, we will investigate and, if confirmed, restore the appropriate number of Coins to your balance.
5.2. The Company is not liable for any indirect, consequential, reputational, emotional, or other damages arising from the use or inability to use Coins or virtual features.
6. Payments and Refunds
6.1. All purchases are processed via authorized payment providers. The total amount and currency will always be shown to you before the final checkout.
6.2. All payments are final and non-refundable, except when required by applicable law or when expressly allowed by our dedicated Refund Policy: https://callmechat.com/refund-policy.
6.3. The Company may, at its discretion, reward users with bonus Coins or promotional items. Such bonuses are not guaranteed and may be revoked or modified at any time.
7. Amendments
7.1. The Company may amend this Policy at any time at its sole discretion. Updated versions will be published in the public domain.
7.2. If you do not agree with any amendments, you must stop using the Application and delete your account.
